Dr. David Dung is a board-certified orthodontist and a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics who has practiced orthodontics on Oʻahu since 1987. Over nearly four decades he has helped create roughly 12,000 healthy, confident smiles, caring for children, teens, and adults across Mililani and Central Oʻahu with braces, Invisalign®, and early treatment.
Dr. Dung takes his time with every patient and builds each treatment plan around the family’s goals. He works alongside Dr. Kaitlyn Tom and Dr. Lauren Todoki, continuing the legacy founder Dr. Carlton Shiraki built in Mililani.

He returned home to Honolulu in 1987 to open his private practice with his father, Dr. David K. H. Dung, who was also an orthodontist, a family connection to the specialty that still shapes how he cares for multi-generation Hawaiʻi families today.
